MRD National School marked Aashadhi Ekadashi with a joyful celebration that wove together devotion, culture, and learning :

• Palkhi Procession & Puja : Students dressed as Lord Vitthal, Rukmini, and Warkaris carried a beautifully adorned palkhi (palanquin), performing aarti and singing abhangas-reviving the traditional Palkhi Sohala spirit.
   
• Cultural Performances : Children from Pre‑primary to middle grades showcased bhajans, drama, and folk dances, immersing the school in festive fervor.
   
• Heritage Education : Through engaging narratives and hands‑on activities, students learned about Aashadhi Ekadashi’s significance—honoring Lord Vitthal and the rich Warkari tradition.
   
• Traditional Attire : The school campus came alive with vibrant Maharashtrian clothing—pheta, nauvari sarees, and green costumes symbolizing the lush Aashadh month.
   
• Spiritual Atmosphere : The air resonated with “Vitthal Vitthal Jai Hari” chants, uniting students and staff in a collective display of reverence and joy.
